Chicken Ranch Racing: A Memorable 2025 Season
January 30, 2026
What a year for Chicken Ranch Racing and our driver John Bohls in #1659. If you’ve been following along, you know we gave it everything this season on the SNORE circuit, and it was everything we hoped for and then some. From scorching desert tracks to parties that got a little too loud (more on that later), 2025 was the year we really made our mark in off-road racing.
The Races
We ran some of the toughest races on the SNORE calendar this year, and our team showed up ready to compete at the highest level every single time. From the brutal heat and unforgiving terrain of the desert to the electric atmosphere of spectator-friendly night races, each event tested our equipment, our team, and our determination.
The Caliente 250 over Memorial Day weekend was as demanding as ever. The Pahrump 200 gave us a chance to race in our own backyard and show the locals what Chicken Ranch Racing is all about. And races like the Battle at Primm delivered the kind of high-energy competition that reminds you why we do this- the speed, the crowd, the pure adrenaline of off-road racing.
Throughout the season, our #1659 proved that we belong on the track with the best teams in the sport. Every race brought new challenges, but our crew handled them with the same professionalism, grit, and precision that you’d expect from anything carrying the Chicken Ranch name.
“It’s Not a Party Unless the Cops Show Up”
Let’s talk about THE party of the season: the Chicken Ranch Brothel and SNORE Lone Kid Pahrump 200 Kickoff Party. If you were there, you know exactly what I’m talking about. If you weren’t, you definitely missed out.
Race cars started rolling into our parking lot with teams getting pumped for race weekend, as it was time to throw a proper kickoff party. And by proper, I mean Chicken Ranch style.
Our gorgeous courtesans were out mingling with drivers, crew chiefs, and race fans. The vibe was perfect- you had serious racers talking shop, fans geeking out over the cars and trucks, and everyone just having a great time. The food was excellent, the music was cranked up, and people were making the kind of connections that make the off-road racing community what it is.
This wasn’t just another sponsor event. This was genuine. People were actually having fun, not just standing around making small talk. Race teams brought their rigs, fans showed up in droves, and the whole thing had this electric energy that you just don’t get at your typical pre-race gathering.
And then… the cops rolled up.
When the saying goes “it’s not a good party unless the cops show up,” we didn’t think we’d actually prove it, but here we are. Local law enforcement swung by to let us know we were getting a little too enthusiastic with the volume. And you know what? We totally get it. We’re good neighbors. They asked nicely, we turned it down, and the party kept going strong. No drama, no issues, just a memorable moment that honestly made the whole night even more legendary.

The turnout blew us away. Everyone left with smiles on their faces and stories they’re still probably telling. That’s what we wanted. Not some stiff corporate sponsor thing, but a real celebration of racing and the community that makes it awesome. Chicken Ranch isn’t just slapping our name on a car and calling it a day. We’re in this. We’re part of the family.
Sponsor Appreciation Award
One of the highlights of 2025? We won the Sponsor Appreciation Award. This isn’t just about writing checks. This award recognizes sponsors who actually get involved, who engage with the community, and who bring something extra to the sport. And yeah, we definitely bring something extra (wink wink). But seriously, this means a lot to us. It shows that the racing community sees us as more than just a sponsor. We’re part of the team, part of the culture, and we’re committed to making this sport as exciting as possible.
Quote from John Bohls
“It was a very successful year, one I think we all can be proud of. We also accomplished the main goal of establishing Chicken Ranch as a very recognized name in racing. It’s not the 1659 car, it’s the Chicken Ranch Racing Team each and every time we come by or announce it on TV or at the races.”
– John Bohls, Chicken Ranch Racing Driver
That’s what it’s all about right there. We’re not just another number. We’re the Chicken Ranch Racing Team. When you see us at the races, you know exactly who we are and what we represent. And that recognition didn’t just happen. It came from showing up, performing, and making every event something people want to be part of.
Looking Ahead
2025 was one hell of a year. We made our presence known in off-road racing, threw parties people are still talking about, and proved that Chicken Ranch belongs in this sport. As we head into the future, we’re more fired up than ever to keep pushing, keep racing, and keep showing everyone what happens when you mix Nevada hospitality with high-speed desert racing.
Big thanks to everyone who supported us this season- the fans who cheered, the teams who raced with us, and everyone who showed up to our events. You made 2025 unforgettable, and we can’t wait to see what’s next.
See you at the track. And maybe at the next party (we’ll try to keep the volume down… maybe).
