Brandon Meehan - Co-Driver/Sec. Driver

Hello, I am Brandon Meehan, Co-Driver pf the No. 1659 Chicken Ranch Race Car sponsored by the World-Famous Historic Chicken Ranch Brothel.

Racing has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up around race cars, spending countless hours at the track and in the shop. My dad Mike Meehan, owner of Meehan Motorsports, preps race cars and builds Volkswagen Racing Engines and Transmission. This hands-on mechanical experience has given me a comprehensive understanding of race vehicle setup, reliability, and performance.

My racing journey began at the age of 11 when I competed in a Trophy Kart, developing the driving skills and competitive mindset that would become the foundation of my racing career. After my time in Trophy Karts, I transitioned to dirt bikes, racing in District 37 and Big 6 from 2010 through 2015. During those years, I continued to build my experience in off-road competition while expanding my knowledge of bike control and how to read terrain.

Growing up in a racing family, I have spent countless miles in the desert as a co-rider alongside my dad, Mike Meehan, in our Class 1600 race car. Together, we competed in events throughout the MORE and SNORE off-road racing series, allowing me to learn race strategy, navigation, and vehicle dynamics from one of my earliest mentors.

At the age of 16, I took the next step in my racing career when I drove my Class 9 race car at the SNORE Rage at the River. Competing against seasoned veterans, I quickly demonstrated determination, maturity, and the ability to adapt to the demands of desert racing. In 2017, I joined the COPS Racing Team as a co-rider in their Class 1 race car next to Kory Halopoff, gaining experience at the highest levels of off-road racing and competing alongside some of the sport's most accomplished drivers and teams.

Racing has played a major role in my personal life. I married my wife Kali, who shares my passion for off road racing. Over the years we have spent countless weekends at the track together, and I’ve had the opportunity to co-ride and race alongside her. Being able to share this sport with my wife has made the experience even more rewarding and has created some of my favorite memories in racing.

What I love most about racing is the people, the competition, and the challenge of pushing myself to be better. It’s a sport that teaches hard work, dedication and teamwork, and those are values that have stayed with me throughout my life. I’m grateful to for the opportunity to be part of Chicken Ranch Racing and look forward to representing the team both on and off the track. I am excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to get out there and compete alongside such a great team of people. 

Mauro "Chato" Diaz - Co-Driver

Hello, I am Mauro Diaz, everyone calls me Chato. I am the Co-Driver of the 1659 Chicken Ranch Race Car Sponsored by the World Famous Chicken Ranch Brothel.

My life in the racing world started when I was 11, being introduced to Volkswagen at a young age, helping my dad with the class 11 in the garage and watching him race. My sister and I started co driving for my dad at 14 and racing our first race together at 16. We started racing class 11 in the Record Off Road Series in Ensenada then in SNORE in Nevada, and MORE in California. My journey in racing has been full of great experience and learning, from Driving/Co- Driving in class 11, racing class 9, and now Co-driving class 16.

As a Co-Driver the main responsibility is navigating the driver through the race course but also staying alert in the mirrors for other cars trying to pass. Another role is assisting in any mechanicals issues the car can have and changing flat tires as fast as possible to lose the least amount of time possible. The Co-Driver also serves as a second pair of eyes for the Driver, what the Driver can't see the Co-Driver can and vice versa.

I am very grateful to be a part of such an amazing team and excited to see what the future brings to us.

Vanessa McCracken - Co-Driver

Hello, I am Vanessa McCracken, Co-Driver of the No. 1659 Chicken Ranch Race Car sponsored by the World Famous Historic Chicken Ranch Brothel.

I am a proud United States Army veteran and have always had a passion for teamwork, determination, and high-pressure environments. I enjoyed off roading driving a Humvee in all parts of the world. After serving in the military, I began my journey with the Chicken Ranch in 2022, originally working as a bartender/Shift Manager. Through hard work, dedication, and a growing passion for motorsports, I quickly became involved in special events, promotions, operations, merchandise, and race team management for Chicken Ranch Racing.

My love for off-road racing continued to grow as I became more involved with the team, learning the behind-the-scenes work that goes into every race weekend. In 2025, I officially stepped into the co-driver seat alongside driver John Bohls in the No. 1659 Class 1600 race car, taking on the challenge and excitement of desert racing firsthand.

As a Co-Driver, my responsibilities include navigation, communication, staying alert to surrounding traffic and race conditions, and assisting with any mechanical issues during competition. Off the track, I enjoy connecting with race fans, representing the Chicken Ranch Racing team at events, and helping grow the sport and community we love.

Being part of Chicken Ranch Racing is an incredible honor. Our team is proud to carry on the spirit, history, and excitement of the iconic Chicken Ranch brand while racing across the deserts of Nevada and beyond. We race hard, have fun, and look forward to meeting fans at every S.N.O.R.E. event.
